How to Embed Audio Looping With AutoPlay in WordPress

WordPress does not offer a tool to embed an audio player in your posts because a simple option is already available – you can use the HTML "Embed" tag. This tag embeds an audio player in your post and plays an audio file when a user browses the page. The file continues to play in a loop until the page is closed.

1. Open a Web browser and navigate to your WordPress administrative dashboard. Type "/wp-admin" (without quotes) after your WordPress domain name to access this page.

2. Enter your username and password to log in to the WordPress dashboard.

3. Click the "Posts" tab and then click the "Add New" sub-tab. You are taken to the WordPress Editor, the tool you use to write your posts.

4. Click the "HTML" tab at the top of the editor to switch to HTML view.

5. Insert the following code into the new post:

6. Replace "URL" in the above code with the URL of your sound file. You cannot use an audio file from your hard drive, but you can upload that file to WordPress. Adjust the width and height of the embedded player by changing the "WIDTH" and "HEIGHT" properties.

7. Switch back to normal view and compose your post in the usual manner.

8. Click "Publish" to save and publish your post. The audio file will play automatically when you visit the page, and it will loop indefinitely.
Warning
Although the Embed tag can be useful, keep in mind that some people might be annoyed by sounds that autoplay and loop indefinitely.
